Veteran cricketer Shoaib Malik has been suffering from immense criticism after he failed to lead Karachi Kings from the front in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8.

Malik, who returned to Kings this season, scored 200 runs in nine matches at an average of 28.57. He scored two fifties but that went in a losing cause. The all-rounder has also bagged four wickets but overall his performance has remained under massive criticism.

After he failed in yet another inning today against Quetta Gladiators, scoring 13 runs, fans not only criticised him but also suggested him to take retirement.

Shoaib Malik up for good acting project

Former Test cricketer Shoaib Malik said he will think about trying his luck in acting if any good project is offered to him.

Malik, who has played 124 T20Is for Pakistan, shared his future plans related to pursuing acting.

"I can't say yes or no right now. If any good project is offered, I will think about it. Maybe I do some good acting work," he hinted.

The all-rounder has often done modeling and also recently hosted a celebrity talk show alongside his Indian tennis star wife Sania Mirza. The cricketer has a lot of friends in the showbiz industry as well.

Last year, Malik made a guest appearance in Mahira Khan-produced drama series 'Barwaan Khiladi'.
